A fantastic opportunity for divers to go deeper. Our SSI Advanced Open Water Course is perfect for divers ready to advance. Courses are offered at our inland dive sites.

Once you complete the SSI Open Water Course, the next step is to earn your SSI Advanced Open Water Course Certification.

The course runs over one weekend and includes five Adventure dives from the list below. Deep and Navigation dives are required. There are no classroom or pool sessions, and you can start right after finishing the SSI Open Water Course.

The SSI Advanced Open Water Course is a two-day program following the Open Water Course. It includes five Adventure dives (Deep and Navigation required), with no class or pool sessions.

We offer our SSI Advanced Open Water Courses at exclusive destinations and during our carefully curated scuba diving holidays worldwide, giving you the opportunity to explore new underwater environments as you learn.

On completion of this exciting course, you will earn the globally recognized “SSI Advanced Open Water Diver” certification, granting access to renowned dive sites and allowing you to dive down to 30 metres. Proof of your Open Water Scuba Diver Certification

Once you have completed the Advanced Open Water Course and gained 20 dives experience then you can enrol onto the Rescue Diver Course and the First Aid Course. These courses go hand in hand and teach you the skills and techniques to rescue divers in many different diving circumstances.

Our Advanced courses are scheduled over two days (one weekend) to enable the participant to complete the 5 required Adventure dives. Either at Stoney Cove, Gildenburgh Water or Capernwray.
